Privacy policy

This is the privacy policy for the Android app “Bluetooth Volume Manager” by Matthias Urhahn (darken).

I do not collect, share or sell personal information.

Debug log

The app has a debug log feature that can be manually triggered by the user through an option in the app’s settings.

It creates a log file that contains verbose output of what the app is doing. The generated file may contain sensitive information, e.g. Bluetooth device names and device details.

As this log file may contain sensitive information, it should only be shared with trusted parties.

Automatic crash reports

This was removed in version v2.57+

The app uses “Bugsnag” for automatic crash reports:

Crash reports may contain device and app related information. Personally identifying information is not required to fix bugs and thus not sought by me or the app.

You can disable automatic crash reports in the app’s settings.
